Eufy Scale
Affordable Bluetooth Smart Bathroom Scale for Apple Health & Google Fit

This scale does something I wasn’t expecting – it let me share my health info at my recent virtual Dr’s appointment since it was embedded into Apple Health! We have reached the future!

I bought this scale to replace a typical, cheap bathroom scale. After a few months use, I’m not sure why I didn’t do this a long time ago!

The EufyLife scale is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a scale to track trends of weight, BMI, body fat %, etc and sync with Apple Health at an affordable price! Literally crazy to think about the price for what this all does!

Body Weight Trends

As I’m preparing for another season of American Ninja Warrior, I’m starting to keep a closer eye on my weight again and this is the motivation I need to stay after it.

Comparing data over time really helps me to see what nutrition hacks are working and which ones are not.

It takes literally seconds to install the app and connect over bluetooth. A EufyLife app breaks down metrics you are interested in including weight, MBI, body fat %, hydration, muscle mass, bone mass, and more. I’m sure the numbers aren’t perfectly accurate, but it gives me a ballpark. You can also have up to 16 people on a single account, making it simple for the entire family or roommates to all use.

Build Quality

The build quality is solid with the top being thicker glass. It’s made by the same team at Anker, which you may know is a solid tech accessories company. It uses 3 x AAA batteries (which are included) and has a 15 month warranty! It uses auto-calibrating sensors to increase accuracy by 10%, making sure measurements are accurate and reliable to 1/10th of  a pound.

Auto Syncs to Apple Health & Google Fit

I realized the true convenience when my asthma flared up and I needed some meds quick before a vacation.

Instead of going to Urgent Care, I used my virtual health app to video chat with a doctor. The virtual appointment app asked if I wanted to share my Apple Health data with the doctor. I of course said yes, so now the Dr. had my weight from that morning and all of the other stats to give him a general idea of my overall health. It wasn’t ground breaking, but just a cool step in the right direction if you ask me.

Best I can tell, the weight is accurate. I take the other info with a grain of salt – I think there are too many factors, for instance the more hydrated you are the more accurate these little sensors can read you. I use those as a guide not a hard fact, but it’s been fun tracking some of the numbers.

I definitely recommend this product, especially for the price, and have left links below if this helped you! If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below!
