Here’s our honest review of the Yunmai massage gun! This massage gun feels great in the hand and is very polished … but after using it, is the value still there? Let’s take a look. I also have a $60 off coupon to share, so there is that.

Usability
The size is great! A small handle with a grip diameter of 41mm.
The 1 button design & feels incredible in hand. The soft touch plastic may be a bit slippery. A rubber handle would be a nice addition, but still overall great.
It’s a very light weight massage gun coming in at 1.76 lbs (0.8KG). It also comes with very low noise levels at 45 dB and 4 attachments in a nice carrying case.
Battery capacity is 1600mAh with a battery life 3h-7h. This will easily last you throughout the day, if not multiple days no problem.
Power
The 24V motor has 3 different speeds on the single touch button:
- Speed 1: 1800r/min
- Speed 2: 2400r/min
- Speed 3: 3200r/min
The amplitude of 10mm (how far the head travels) is a bit on the lower side and starts to get into the vibration massager area.
Stall force is the biggest downside of this massage gun. I’m OK with lower speeds having a lower stall force, however, in order to do the job of percussion massage it has to have a high enough stall force to dig in deep. Even on the higher speeds, the Yunmai massage gun doesn’t have the power we are looking for and keeps stalling out.
Value
The price comes in around $200 on Amazon, and I have the aforementioned $60 coupon thus bringing it down to around $140. All of that said, since the stall force is so low, it’s hard to recommend this as a valued product. If the stall force was higher, I would definitely be recommending this product.
